# Complete your artist profile

Your profile is how Nuri's AI learns your practice. The Listings, opportunity matching, and application suggestions all start here. An incomplete profile means generic results.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access your profile settings">
    Click your profile picture in the bottom left of the sidebar. Select **Settings**, then navigate to the **Profile** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill in your practice details">
    Complete each field — the more specific you are, the better the AI performs:

    * **Artist Name:** Your public name as it appears on your CV and applications.
    * **Medium Focus:** Select the primary mediums you work in (e.g., Painting, Sculpture, Video).
    * **Location:** Your current city or country. Used to surface location-relevant opportunities.
    * **Bio:** A short biography, 2–4 sentences. Write it as you would for a grant application.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save your changes">
    Click **Update** to save. Nuri will immediately use this information to recalibrate your Listings.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Your bio doesn't need to be perfect. Nuri uses it to extract keywords and career signals — a working draft is better than nothing.
