# Add a show or exhibition

Track an upcoming show to manage it. Log a past show to build your CV. Either way, linking artworks to exhibitions automatically updates their status and location in your inventory — no double entry.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a new exhibition">
    Two ways to start:

    **From the Overview:** Click **New** on your dashboard and select **New project**.

    **From the Exhibitions tab:** Click **Exhibitions** in the left navigation, then **New Exhibition** in the top right.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Define the exhibition details">
    Once the creation modal opens:

    * **Title:** The official name of the exhibition.
    * **Dates:** Opening and closing dates. For ongoing shows, you can leave the closing date blank.
    * **Venue:** The gallery, museum, or location hosting the event.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect your studio assets">
    This is where Nuri earns its keep. Inside your new exhibition:

    * **Link Artworks:** Attach pieces from your Inventory that will be displayed. Their location and status update automatically.
    * **Link Contacts:** Tag the curators, gallerists, or co-exhibitors involved. Builds your relationship graph.
    * **Add Documents:** Upload press releases, checklists, or installation images.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  **Log your history too.** Add past exhibitions to build a complete CV record inside Nuri. The more history you add, the more the AI understands your exhibition trajectory.
</Tip>

<Info>
  If this show came from an opportunity you found in the **Listings**, you can link it directly — preserving the full trail from discovery to exhibition.
